RODA was engaged to resolve severe water damage caused by poor workmanship from earlier renovations. Our solution involved redesigning the oversized, exposed upstairs terrace—removing parapets and box gutters in favour of a harmonised roof with eave gutters for effective drainage.

This resolved flooding issues in the living room below and introduced a more functional layout. The reconfiguration created a spacious master suite with ensuite and walk-in robe.

Impressed, the client expanded the brief to replan the entire upper floor, adding ensuites to all bedrooms. The main living floor was also updated—transforming an oversized family bathroom into a powder room and an ensuite. A new open plan luxury kitchen with sight lines to the street and rear terrace created a more connected, light filled and functional home.

Externally, new materials and colours modernise the facade, while clerestory windows relieve a pinch point created by the extended roofline. The added green roof over the garage softens the view from the front balcony.

Additional works included improved landscaping and integrated battery storage, linked to the existing solar array and accessed via a new internal stair directly from the garage.
